What a lot of folks are forgetting.

"I will say it's not comparable, personally," said Mays when asked about the comparison between Hooker and Iamaleava. "That would be like saying to me four years ago to compare me to -- I was a whole different person four years ago, you know what I'm saying. When I was 19 years old -- you're not comparable to a 25 year old.

"Nico's great in his own right and a different kind of leader. I'm sure he'll end up being different (as he ages). It's hard to be compered to somebody that's -- I think Hendon was six years in? That's a real grown man. Most people are married with kids by the age of 25."

People forget that people were calling for Brandon Stewart to be the starter over Peyton Manning. Who is Brandon again?
Oh, I remember it well: long before Vol Nation & other social media, many talk show "experts" preferred Brandon over Peyton. Didn't take long for the superior QB to rise to the top. Stewart transferred to TX Tech or the like, disappearing into pigskin oblivion. Peyton's story is well-chronicled. The coaches knew when the "fans" didn't (again).

There are too many posters that ignore the age difference and stupidly make it about the money, as if that should actually make a difference in his first year against the speed and physicality of SEC defenses, which is the closest thing in college to the NFL
True enough. You got some folks who, shall we say, are well off, and arrogant about it. Asking why the $8milion didn't guarantee better results. Ignoring our QB's inexperience, age, and all that comes with that. As if the money purchased Nic a magic wand. Whereby he just wave it, and we automatically win by 50 points each game. Anyone stirring a bowl of ignorance, arrogance, and stupidity is just cooking up a dish of acorn, chicory root, dandelion flower soup. You can know, without eating the stuff, how it'd tastes.

Basically, such people are the kind who assume they can use their fat wallets as a bludgeon to gain or reinforce a privilege.

Didnā€™t even look at who posted this but I knew it was you just by the prose and inflections. Love the consistency.

25 with Kids? At that early age some have yet figured out what gender they are gonna be.
