That dude is already a team hero and hasn't even played a down. Gotta love him he is a underground cult classic already, kinda like Jordan TooToo of the nashville preds, his stats are average but he will fight like hell for his team....Go get'em Mr. Miller

I give miller and smith a lot of credit for this class staying as intact as it has. I know dooley has been talking to these kids but I think Miller and Smith has been reminding everyone that this is still Tennessee and it's still the only place to be!! GBO!!!!

this dude is amazing! He's a beast in my book allready just by what he's trying to do for the future team. With all that we've heard the last few weeks, i don't think there's going to be any shortage of leadership on this team for the next few years now!:dance2:

I don't know what you guys think ,but I honestly believe Markeith will be a Vol when all is said and done.

Besides, no school's fanbase is recruiting Markeith as much as UT. Just look at his facebook page. He knows how loved he would be in Knoxville, not to say he wouldn't be loved anywhere else. I think he's a Vol ,because its his first school he committed to ,and I think Dooley will be able to work some magic.

Just hope the NCAA doesn't track comments back to a season ticket holder (a.k.a. booster) and tack on another violation.

Miller is a beast and maybe a better recruiter than a player. It will be hard to top his recruiting. Maybe we should skip the playing and just put Miller on staff. JK

And how would that be a violation?

Are they offering him anything to come to UT?

This was a big deal um, 3 years ago. There is nothing the NCAA can do about this now, its how the world is, people need to just deal with it. There is no way for them to Police this and no way for them to really enforce it. If they did every school in the country would get a violation.

The way I see it is that there's no reason you can't add a guy as a friend. It's no different than following Chad Ochocinco or Shaq on twitter. It's there for the reason of networking. Now looking up-and-down their pages day-to-day is weird. But seeing that they said something (regarding their recruitment) on your news feed and relaying that info seems perfectly fine to me. It's either public or private, but if they added this person as a friend, that person is now privileged to that information.

Nonmonetary influence can still be considered a violation.

Ok then every school in the country should be expecting a Facebook letter in the mail saying they are violated.

Its just not going to happen.

Very true. The best way I can describe it would be like in the movie the Blind Side. If you have seen it, you'll remember the tutor. She provided no monetary value, but based on what she was telling him, she was in clear violation of recruiting rules. She owned season tickets, therefore she was a booster. As a booster, she was clearly leading him to Ole Miss, while also deterring him from places like Tennessee.

It will only happen if the NCAA wants to nail them for it. That's the problem with ruffling their feathers - there are 100s of violations out there if they want to push them.

These 2010 Vols are going to mean a lot to us Volunteer fans, they've stuck through the :censored: Kiffin put us through and all the off the field incidents. We need to back these guys 100% and show them why UT has the best Fan Base in America! GBO!!
