Dools is at fault for not monitoring them better.

Players are at fault for skipping workouts when they should WANT to get better.

Blame can easily be placed on both, because in the end, it hurt the players way more because Dools still walked out of here rich.

The whole point is that the coaches arent allowed contact most of the summer; I assume that rule is being broken here now if they are being monitored by the coaches.

The S&C coach has contact with the players during summer workouts. I would assume that he logs some kind of progress report for each player and makes notes of any issues with a player's attendance/work ethic during this time period. Furthermore, I'm sure this information is passed along to the rest of the coaching staff. Once the coach has this information in front of him it is then up to him to hold the players accountable for their actions (or lack of).

I think there is an overwhelming amount of evidence that Derek Dooley was the worst head football coach in Tennessee's long and storied history.

That's a jackwagon trifecta

You're en fuego in this thread, Fade.

Glad to see the consensus has moved where EVH was at Showergate: Derek Dooley is the worst coach in UT history and he deserves Vol Fan jokes and ridicule for a generation or more.
