Hater? If hater means factual, then you're correct. Half of the conference he coached in "won" the title last year.

How can you say anything about recruiting classes and being dominant when he's only been at each stop for 3 years? That would mean he left after "his" recruits Fr. and Soph. years. There are too many dominant teams led by Fr. and Sophs.

Jury is out on the quarterback for the long run, but Jones is 1-0 against Franklin and has been here less than a year. Yes, Franklin has been a good x and os coach for Vandy and recruited better than predecessors but don't see how you make a blanket statement he is a better coach than Jones. He has no conf championships, no 10 win seasons, has only been a HC for 3 years vs 7 etc. Seems like an assanine thing to say this year. A year or two from now we will know who can do less with more and build better relative to their school and program. Seemed like a stupid, unjustified reason. And I am only partial Butch/not full Butch yet, just seemed not based in fact

I conclude that from the facts. Mock it as you and Boca may....facts are facts...did he or did he not?

If your answer is yeah BUT....then just stop because you have proved my point. What is proof of great coaching then? If you are winning where ever you are and winning the conference championship there too...then tell me how that is not great coaching?

You 2 probably dismissed Urban Meyer as he never won his conference and finished 2nd then 3rd at Bowling Green then his tiny conference titles at Utah too.

Edit: and the fact he hasn't coached in the MAC or Big East and proved he can win there (he prob could but hasn't done it) is kind of my point. Don't have as long a head coaching history to show he can win at places. Again, truly don't think you can say one is better than other right now
