Doesn't matter. The point is, Dooley didn't even try.
If you really think having brown would have made a difference... you must have not watched the games...
3rd and 2.. and we try to throw it 40 yards down the field.....
what difference could brown have made????????
You assume that's the play that was called. What happened frequently is the play was called to throw a slant or hitch to get the first down short. Instead, your "gunslinger" QB chucked it downfield to the receiver that was supped to be the decoy to draw safety help away from the short route. Go back and watch a few games, you'll see a lot of short passes open on those plays with angry TEs and WRs wondering why the throw didn't come to them.

Seems to me offense was not the problem this year, it was the defense that could not stop a five year old on a tricycle. When you score more than 40 points in a game you would think you would win.
You assume that's the play that wasn't called. What happened frequently is that Chaney was an idiot who didn't know how to stick with the run on short-yardage situations, even when the run was working.
Mmmkay?
Dooley's gone, Chaney can't play-call and Brown was a gold digger with no loyalty to anyone but his own bank account.
It's time you got over it.
