Could Fla. make it a respectfull game if they played Ohio St. or Mich. With the injuries and them not being to sharp lately, I doubt it.

Ohio State and Michigan would both torch Florida. The real problem for Florida, though, is that Arkansas will torch them too.

Of course they could and would..OSU looked very impressive in their 17-10 win over the 2 win Zooker this yr..and Michigan fought valiantly against that Ball State powerhouse.

Meanwhile, Florida has destroyed everyone they have played.

...and Florida's 6 point win over Vandy has apparently been forgotten in Gainesville.

I hope the SECCG comes down to a 39 yard field goal attempt by Hetland. Since he's yet to make one of over 30 yards, I like to see what he can do under some real pressure.

College football is funny. I see this game being close. UF has been playing to the level of their competition.

Don't you get it? That was an SEC game! You can count yourself lucky to win ANY of them!

Nevermind the fact that's how every one of Florida's games looked, while Ohio State and Michigan had about 3 or 4 close games, combined.

Here's a nice lil post on one of the Gator boards...

Everyone talks about how BAD the Florida OFFENSE has been this season and why this will cost us a shot at the BCS Championship. I guess those people have NOT noticed these statistics:

Offensive TD's Scored:
FLORIDA - 44
USC - 43
Michigan - 41

Average Yards per Play:
FLORIDA - 6.51
USC - 5.95
Michigan - 5.64

Top 25 Defenses Faced:
FLORIDA - 5 (will be 6 after Saturday)
Michigan - 3
USC - ZERO

Losses to UNRANKED teams:
USC - 1
FLORIDA - ZERO
Michigan - ZERO

Losses to Top 5 teams:
FLORIDA - 1
Michigan - 1
USC - ZERO

So it must be a problem with our defense, you say?

Scoring Defenses:
FLORIDA is #4 Nationally (allowing 12.3 per game)
Michigan is #9 Nationally (allowing 14.6 per game)
USC is #13 Nationally (allowing 15.1 per game)

SO...

The University of Florida has scored more Touchdowns than USC or Michigan ... gained more yards per play than USC or Michigan ... all against much tougher defenses than those faced by USC or Michigan ... and has a BETTER DEFENSE than USC or Michigan ...

but is somehow ranked BELOW those two teams in the BCS?

Think anyone at ESPN will ever broadcast THESE facts over the air? Hell no.

I'm pretty sure USC played Arkansas as well.

How many offensive TDs does Florida have against I-A opponents? Those stats are so misleading and inaccurate it's scary.
