Missouri State is about to steal a bid. If the LVs get in, it may be as the last team in. They’re going to be sweating it big time tomorrow.

I figure there are nine teams competing for the last four spots. Here they are with their overall and conference W/L, and their RPI, SOS and Power Rating number and rank.
Ohio 27-5 14-4 RPI .6020 (#34) SOS .5290 (#90) PR: 77.90 (#21) Wins: Purdue, Buffalo
James Madison 25-5 17 -2 RPI: .5962 (#36) SOS .5033 (#142) PR: 75.63 (#31) Wins: ---
Indiana 20-12 9-11 RPI: .5818 (#47) SOS .5703 (#41) PR: 71.16 (#61) Wins: UCLA, SoDak, Iowa. MSU
St. Mary's 20-11 13-7 RPI: .5796 (#48) SOS .5536 (#58) PR: 70.73 (#71) Wins: BYU
Auburn 21-9 10-8 RPI: .5795 (#50) SOS .5454 (#71) PR: 72.69 (#48) Wins: Mizzou, LSU
USC 17-13 7-12 RPI: .5773 (#53) SOS .5782 (#29) PR: 69.06 (#83) Wins: UCLA, Utah, Cal
TCU 20 -10 10 -9 RPI: .5740 (#57) SOS .5500 (#64) PR: 71.44 (#59) Wins: WV, Iowa St.
Tennessee 19 -12 8-10 RPI .5735 (#59) SOS .5752 (#35) PR: 70.82 (#70) Wins: Texas, Missouri
Arkansas 20-14 9-11 RPI: .5685 (#67) SOS .5670 (#45) PR: 69.19 (#80) Wins: Tex A&M, TN, SC
It looks like Charlie Creme still has them in. RealTime RPI has them out.
As, the stomach turnsHmmm.... So the Committee had Princeton "on the bubble" before their game with the #1 Ivy seed Penn... Does that mean they had Penn already in? If that's the case, that would mean that there were only three spots left for the seven other teams. Or did they have Princeton rated higher than Penn, and were putting them on the bubble as a second team from the Ivy?
And I bet UCF was a little surprised to see themselves on the bubble since no one else had had them there. They have by far the highest RPI of the bubble teams and not a bad SOS (although artificially inflated by playing UConn three times!)
Has the NCAA ever released the names of the teams on the bubble like this before? Are they doing it this year so that ESPN gets better ratings on the selection show? Do they in fact plan to have cameras with Holly and the team during the reveal?
Lobo on ESPN seemed pretty certain that UCF, Tenn, Auburn and Indiana are in. Does she have inside information? If she's right, that means that Creme nailed it, since he had Ohio as the last team in, and the Missouri State upset took their bid. You have to wonder about how independently the NCAA and ESPN are operating. Is the NCAA just rubber stamping Creme's decisions?
We'll see what tomorrow reveals.
