I heard this come from them as well but I have also heard that the rumor came from Hart but was quoted wrong. It doesn't sound like it has as much steam as it's being blown up to be. I'm all for it....but I'm waiting for more confirmation before I get excited.

Swain and Stokes was talking about possibility of wearing Jordan apparel for UT sports. Stokes said they are seriously considering it. I wonder what impact it would help recruiting since Jordan apparel is most popular in sporting apparel in the world.

This all stems from Hubbs misunderstanding what someone told him and now it's blown up. Some of the gear that the athletes receive will be from Nike's Jordan and LBJ lines. That's true at all of Nike's top-level schools.

On the field, all the uniforms will have the Nike logo.

Jordan cleats and shoes will be options for our teams, as they are at other Nike schools.

Jordan is a brand, just as is Nike and Adidas. Happens to be probably the most popular brand among teenage kids. Sounds like perfect sense to me.

High schools kids will be all over wearing some Jordans over Adidas. IMO JMO TIFWIW
