I’ve always said when the NL goes to the DH I would be done with MLB, we shall see if that holds true.

Problem is, I’ve been a Cardinals fan the same amount of time as a Vols fan, since birth.

Rob Manfred is the WORST thing to happen to Major League Baseball in a long time. Good news though, MLB season likely isn’t starting anytime soon so extra prime time opportunities for college baseball this year. Grow the sport!

I know what you mean, but I remember one season under CDS where there was something like seven times at the beginning of the season where weather and field conditions canceled games. There were only a few games then boom, SEC play.

Yea, I get it brother...... but the sight and smell of fresh cut grass on opening day is a glorious thing.

Agreed. With advances in technology, I cant believe someone hasn’t developed artificial turf that smells like real grass and dirt. That would be perfect.

Got to have the turf for winter baseball in Tennessee... remember a few years ago when it was absolute downpour, no lightning and the game with Indiana (IIRC) played on.
