Countdown to Northam Resignation

Gotcha. Maybe it was consensual until after the fact when she then felt she had made a mistake or had regret. I’m sure that’s acceptable as sexual assault by the left.

Consensual probably changes to assault when the nobody special turns into someone more important ... there's money to be made.

She says that they started kissing but when she tried to cut the encounter off at that point, he held her by the neck and forced her to perform oral.

Are you prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice in 10, 20, 30 years for something acceptable you did today ... something that may be judged as immoral, stupid, or criminal in a future time frame? How about something you did in your teenage years when you were really dumb and full of self importance and hormones? The biggest error so many people are making to day is judging the past by today's "standards" ... standards that virtually come and go, become dead and buried or promoted to biblical levels overnight.

Perhaps a lot of people should revisit the "ex post facto" concept in our legal system because revisionism can be a really cruel witch. There's plenty of history showing that people who made wrong or questionable choices early in life became completely different people ... sometimes in spite of their poor choices and sometimes because of their poor choices.

Just remember things we do today may in 20 years be taboo, and I don't think any of us has a crystal ball to warn us.
If I was to defend him, you would just call me a leftist and a part of the deep state. Spare me the protecting the little man bit.

I agree. This has gotten stupid.

I haven't rushed to judgment on this. I wanted to hear his response and maybe could have given him the benefit of the doubt.

The problem is that his apology and then press conference have made him look even worse. Either he doesn't appear to get what he did was wrong, or he's not telling the truth about it.

One article I read it says his wife wants him to “fight through this “ and said his advisors are split in what to do next . I don’t think he has plans to resign now .

The Dems leaked this photo because of how he described the after birth abortion/infanticide.

What they didn't count on was Fairfax having a sexual assault charge by a woman come out after they threw the Governor under the bus.

She says that they started kissing but when she tried to cut the encounter off at that point, he held her by the neck and forced her to perform oral.

Well there's the problem. Fairfax is obviously using the Bill Clinton definition of sex, therefore, in his mind, no "sexual" assault occurred.

Actually in this case I wouldn't. Judging the past by today's standards is an extreme error to me ... pretty much intolerable, and stupid beyond redemption. One extreme example is that of slavery; virtually every civilized person (there are those other cultures still lingering) will agree that it is wrong, but, still, in the past it was an accepted practice followed by almost every civilization. You can't retroactively condemn the past by current standards. People once tried to turn lead to gold, people once zapped mentally ill patients with electric charges; it wasn't because they were stupid; it was because they didn't know then what we know now.

However, I still might jerk your chain a bit if I thought you were willing to attack one side and let the other slide for similar "offenses".
