@Toujours Pret found a steal of a deal for Holiday Inn last night and took it. I can only cancel up to the 19th, but I can’t imagine I’m getting close to what I found. And as a non drinker, a one mile walk isn’ta big deal to me.

That's where I stayed for Turnpike and had no complaints, everything down there is high for just a place to sleep but the convenience is worth it

Yea. Finding a place in Charleston two nights prior for Moonpies is incredibly cheaper. Good thing about Isbell in Greensboro is I can drive home after that. But his tickets are soooo expensive.

I’ll be at Residence Inn for the Thursday night of RTTR which I think is where I stayed when I was there three years ago but I can’t remember for sure. If my memory is accurate then I’ve got a fairly short commute to the Lincoln.

Think that's where I was last year, by the sketchy McDonald's. Easy walking distance

I know some aren't the biggest Zach Bryan fans, but there's something to be said about damn near 10,000 people singing every word to songs that haven't been properly released yet.

Also, I'll reiterate my claim that 2022 has been the year of great live albums.

If the self important people “who pay attention “ don’t like what you like then you should still not give a **** what they think.

For example. Walker Hayes takes a lot of hate here. He’s a recovering alcoholic and so am I. His song “Drinking songs” may be one of my absolute favorite songs ever written.

It means absolutely nothing if the gatekeepers don’t like it.

I'm a self admitted music snob, maybe I'm a **** about it sometimes. But if something gets your heart opened and brain happy then that's all that counts

We’ve had conversations about what you do and don’t like and why. That’s a lot different than the asshats I make a habit of calling out.

Following up on a previous conversation we’ve had ….I will be seeing Luke Bryant in Cancun mid January. You know what I think of his writing…..but my brother likes him…..so here we go. And I plan on not saying a damn word about how bad it is. I do get to see Chris Stapleton at the same festival so I’m looking forward to that
