Funny story from last night, ward Davis was arrested before his set for smoking weed in his van, thankfully Cody Jinks met them at the jail and bailed him out, then as usual, ward ended his set with “don’t forget to get stoned” and added some “**** Hays,Kansas” into the song 😂

The thing about music in general is it evolves throughout time. Go back to Hank, Patsy etc, then it evolved to people like Dolly, Porter Wagner, George Jones that led to Garth, Reba etc and this had led to what we have today. What I'm getting at is I'm sure the fans of each genre hated the next genre of country music. I'm ok with some of today's artist except for Luke Bryan, he sucks

Any Cadillac Three fans in here? I highly recommend for anyone not familiar. They tend to be closer to southern rock, but I thought some in this thread might appreciate it. The lead (Jaren Johnston) is turning into a pretty successful country songwriter.

Their first album is/was good, but the new stuff isn’t that good at all. I like the song “party like you” but other than that, just give me their first album.

All in good fun, but I just came with with 5 artist/bands who are underrated and 5 who are overrated in particular order.

Overrated:
Steve earl
Vince Gill (just never got into him)
Margo price
Cadillac three
Jason isbell

Underrated
Cody Jinks
Ward Davis
Colter wall
Aaron Lewis
Aaron Watson

Really sh***y overrated list.

Vince Gill is one of the most talented artists in country music history.

Jason Isbell can write, play and sing circles around Davis, Jinks and Lewis. I'd argue he's better than all of five honestly. I just like Aaron Watson's sound better.

What????? Jinks is 1000000x the artist isbell is. Jason will have one or two good songs on an album, when Cody doesn’t have one bad album, or one bad song.

I mean it’s all personal preference, but I’m not the devil, and Adobe sessions are two of the best albums ever. Not being counting less wise,30, black sheep and the two out of prints.

As someone who owns and loves both of these albums I still have to say that this statement is absolutely preposterous. Best albums ever? Like in the history of albums?
