Country music thread

I listened to two songs against my better judgement Dallas. His singing isn't strong. Love the style from the band, but he's way to bland and dry to sing with those harmonies. Whatever the first video I watched, I'd love to own that baby blue Bronco.
Some of the best country artist weren't the best singers. It was their delivery. I wouldn't say this will be album of the year, but It will probably make some list for albums of the year. ... On the flip side, I'm much more looking forward to colter, whitey, and ward’s (whenever his is coming out )

I need some thoughts on luke combs... I want to like him. His voice is killer, but the production is what gets me.

Saw WMM tonight. Puts on a hell of a show, great guy too.

The fiddle solos in “Lost and Found” on Randy Rogers Band’s “Live at Billy Bob’s Texas” are the closest thing I can give to the definition of country music.

Isbell’s Live at the Ryman album is a must. Nothing I haven’t heard, but he sounds even better live than the studio cuts. The raw sound and energy just makes the lyrics even more powerful.

The fiddle on Flagship is just too much for me really.

Hits me like a ton of bricks every time the crowd erupts after “and I swore off that stuff forever this time” in Cover Me Up.

It’s been said by someone other than me but I totally believe it. He is the southern Bruce Springsteen.

I had never heard of Isbell till this thread. But holy crap do I thank you guys for bringing him up. I've not stopped listening for about 3 straight months now. Elephant may be the greatest song ever written to me. Think I've listened to Speed Trap Town about 500 times now. The man is a lyrical genius.
