Yeah, it'd be great to land both Elliot and McDonald, but i dont see it happening...
they are really similar players, but i see us getting Elliot, while crap Duke gets McDonald...

Not sure, I think they have 4 or 5. I know they want Liggins, Clarke, Warren, and either Zeller or Greene. I think I read that Gillespie could find room to add Miller as well. That class is wow.

It looks like UK has 3 scholarships available for '08, so with Liggins committed, they have 2 left to give. They are using 12 now and have 2 seniors. If they use both of them and nobody leaves, they will be over the limit in '09, because they have no seniors in the '09 class and already have 1 commitment. I figure somebody will eventually transfer. Chris Diggs - UK Fan Blog Of course, Gillispie said that the inherited players are "his guys." We'll see. If no one leaves early, they will run out for '09 with the next '08 commitment.

That's my opinion. We only have one scholly for that class anyways(barring an early departure).

I think we have a great shot to land both McDonald and Williams. In fact, at this point, I'd say we lead for both. We can sign 4 in the 2008 class (Williams, Fortson, Singleton, and Jurick) and still sign 2 in 2009 because I guarantee someone will leave. In fact, I'd bet that more than one leaves...either by transfer or somebody like Tyler Smith or Ramar Smith going to the NBA. Or we could make use of the UK method of putting kids on academic scholly (like EW). UT will look to sign at least 2 in 2009, preferably McDonald and Hall.
