:eek:lol:
UT is so great that we don't have to make that choice. We had both.

CP will never pull the shenanigans Foster did.

Also, CP was loved by the fan base from the moment he stepped foot on campus. Foster's admission seemed like payback for us booing him, after we paid him to fumble.

CP shows that you can play for a bad VOLS team for one year, and he got enough attention to be a top draft pick in the NFL. He must do wonders for the recruiting (and we had a lot of them)

You kidding me, we at the game got to give our applause & our thanks for CP, Leonard Little, Dwayne Goodrich, and Bill Bates. DWAMN hat was like old home week and my wife and I loved it and clapped as hard as we could for each of those true Vols. Anyone see LL get on his knees and kiss the T on the field??? Tears to my eyes boys.

Nevermind, I found out: 6 catches for 82 yards. Slow start for him, as I expected (though his yards per catch is good). Not unusual for receivers to take some time to develop in the NFL, and that is certainly true for CP, who remains more athlete than polished receiver. Will be interested to see how much he develops--and I'm sure the Vikes are too! He's got Demarius Thomas like size and athleticism--but he's not close to him yet as a receiver.

Ponder that...tard. Anybody could be a stud receiver with Manning serving footballs like jack and cokes

His 50 yd run off of the HB pass attempt sparked pur comeback against UGa last yr. We fell short, but it gave us a spark.

Spark! That was more like C3 (CP3?) explosives. What an unbelievable and demoralizing play. UGA should have beaten us by 30 last year, but that play, a couple of stupid ones on their part, and some other big ones by us allowed our O to take it down to the final drive.

One of my favorite UT players to ever hit the field and he was only here 1 season. The kid is a freak of nature and he was fun as hell to watch. I'm glad he chose to spend his final college season here at UT and to see him back at the games.

Thomas wasn't who he is now his first two years in the league either. He had 54 total catches his first two years in the league. He's now in his 4th year and did not become who he is until Peyton Manning became a Bronco. It's easy to see a similar arc for CP.

Yes, that's CP. A 12-game career, VFL, member of Wide Receiver U and Vol Legend forever. Glad he was part of the team if only for one year but he will always be part of our Big Orange family.

Vol legend now, huh? Wow. For maybe 8-10 great plays he pulled off in his 12 game career. OK. And we won 5 games in that long, illustrous career. Today's generation is too easy to impress obviously, or have forgotten the countless great plays that the true Vol legends have performed while in school.
