I believe that was mentioned by someone on the TV or radio broadcast, too. Good eye.
Plastic composite gets very brittle at 15 degrees. All the MORE reason not to play these Playoffs in that weather. Asinine. UT Officials should be in somebody's ear. LOUDLY. That breakdown could result in permanent injury. Not to mention the human body is more susceptible to injury in that environment. Asinine.
Wow, what an outcry for playing a sport with a rich rich history in extreme cold and elements. This reminds me of these college kids who go on massive rants against anything and everything when their ignorance is not affirmed.Plastic composite gets very brittle at 15 degrees. Did you petition the nfl and ncaa yet to ask for no more cold weather during ball games?Plastic composite gets very brittle at 15 degrees. Ahh I’m guessing it’s something to do with the materials reacting to the cold temps. Something is causing the materials to become more brittle in lower temps. At first glance, this appears to be the same manufacturer of Mahome's cracked helmet last year during -4 degree playoff game vs. the Dolphins.
