Cracked 2 Helmets

Should’ve been targeting on that first one. It was helmet to helmet contact. Nico played his butt off against Ohio State, but unfortunately, didn’t get much help from anybody else. I could absolutely see the cold weather having an effect on the helmet.
You'll never get a targeting call on a runner that's still in the box. He wasn't passing the ball or a defenseless receiver, and he was beyond the Los. It was a clean hit

Targeting wasn't even mentioned on the broadcast. Guess you have to lay out on the ground unconscious for them to call it any more.
You might be joking but there is a truth in that, I guarantee if he had laid there for a while, the booth would have started reviewing it and especially when they saw the crack it would have been targeting. It was also weird that the broadcasters later saw the zoom in on crack and never discussed OSU getting away with a helmet to helmet and possible ejection.

This is a crazy take you can get targeting anywhere even running backs and receivers get head to head hits with penalties called.

Think u might need to check up on the rules before you make an opinion on a statement. It makes you sound ridiculous. Nico was a runner and not a defenseless player. On top of that, Simon didn't deliver the hit with the crown of his helmet. Nico is actually the one who lowered his head, so if there was a penalty, it's technically supposed to be on Nico. They didn't call it on Nico because they rarely call it on a runner that's still in the box. Had he been in the open field it would have been a penalty on Nico. This is not orange colored glasses, this is simply the rules bro.

Plastic composite gets very brittle at 15 degrees. All the MORE reason not to play these Playoffs in that weather. Asinine. UT Officials should be in somebody's ear. LOUDLY. That breakdown could result in permanent injury. Not to mention the human body is more susceptible to injury in that environment. Asinine.
This feels like when OSU complained about the length of our cleats
