Was shocked when I read this on the internet. Apparently, it's happened before. He's going to come back against this. Who knows what will happen before the new season. Apparently he's going to be replaced. Stay tuned!
I'd say this is a huge hit to the show especially following Shemar Moore's exit but there was just always something wrong with Gibson's character. His character was always very dry and uptight. I don't think you'll miss his character much and the replacement might even be better.
In other news it looks like they brought in Adam Rodriguez to join the show. You'll recognize him from CSI Miami. I guess he's the new male eye candy to try and fill the void for Shemar Moore.

I liked Adam on CSI Miami.
Paget Brewster FTW!
If his lawyers litigate a return, they should do an entire season about Hochner going off the deep end after so many years and traumas. He becomes an unsub and offs the entire BAU team in hideous ways until Prentiss finally takes him out.

Yeah, so did I.
Based on everything I've been reading I don't think he has a chance of returning. This isn't the first time Thomas Gibson has gotten physical with coworkers. If he tries to go forward with a law suit they'll dig up every little incident over the past 12 years and it's probably not going to be worth that.
