It's the exact same crap I heard during Dooley's last year. "Oh, don't post anything negative ... recruits read the boards!"

Who really cares whether or not this is for real or fake... The fact of the matter is our basketball team is and has been rather pathetic the past three years. I see people say this person or that person isn't a real fan etc...

Like it or not college athletics is a revenue based business.. If we continue to show up and support a losing team/ coaches the university is still making money at the door. So far we have not shown we are overly concerned as an administration with wins and loses.. The only way we can have an influence in the direction of the basketball team is with our hard earned dollars at the gate and concession stands etc.

I give my donations to the university... Will be getting ready to send my second one to school there. I was a season ticket holder for both football and basketball.. and we attend many of the women's soccer/ lady Vols games..

I wasn't happy with the decline of our football program under Fulmer, but I stuck with the staff until the end.Same with Kiffin and Dooley, although I wanted Dooley gone after the second season... Actually didn't want him from the beginning.

As for basketball I gave up my tickets during the Buzz era.. Got them back with Bruce and turned them back in at the beginning of last season and used that money for more seats in Neyland.

I will not support a program that is as dull as our basketball program is.. If we bring in someone that revitalizes the program I will be back. Otherwise I will watch on tv between reading the dictionary..

As someone said earlier if a future prospect/ player can't handle the criticism then maybe D-I ball isn't for them.

The 2014 recruiting class has plummet to a ranking of 30, our 2015 lone recruit Justice is shopping around, this current team is so inconsistent they may not make the dance this year. We lose Maymon, JordiMac, Stokes & Barton after this year. Not a good sign going forward. A true fan should be really concerned with the way things are headed.

Similar to Dooley's last year. There's a crap storm on the horizon and I can see it coming.

I agree . He will be back next year. Next years team will struggle just to make the NIT. Not a good time to be a UT basketball fan.

They gave Martin another year last year, imo.. He should have been fired after the way he b****ed and whined about not making the NCAA then a humiliating defeat in the 1st round of the NIT.

The only reason this team is on the bubble now is due to bad coaching. This is a very talented team.

You may be right and ticket sales will plummet and the black curtains will go back up. The biggest tragedy of this is that Pearl will be coaching at another SEC school and taking our measure two or three times a year. That will be hard to swallow.
