Crompton or Ainge

I think Crompton will plant his flag and claim the job. Either way, we've been playing a ton of young guys in the defensive secondary... scary to think they should be better than the front...

Don't forget Coker when talking about the RBs, he's a redshirt... and JC is no longer hurt, he had shoulder surgery as the season began, and has been throwing again for a few weeks.

haven't heard that,  but that would be reason to be optomistic.  it would give us another option.

I agree that Ainge has three games to become the Tennessee QB next year. Crompton is an unknown as far as college football goes. I think that the new OC will settle Ainge down and develop him in to an excellent QB ro maybe I am just hoping. However, I am glad that the OC will be also working with Crompton just in case.

I know this season has been a letdown but can we wait until this season is over before we start second guessing who's gonna start next yr :banghead:  :banghead:  :banghead:  :banghead:  :banghead:  :banghead:  :banghead:  :banghead:  :banghead:  :banghead:  :banghead:  :banghead:  :banghead:  :banghead:  :banghead:  :banghead:  :banghead:

sonofajohn......

What do you have against Shreveport? Is it that the Independence Bowl is rated so low, or do you not like the city in general? Just curious.

It's nothing against the city. I would just rather not have to watch UT struggle against a 6 win team in December. It was hard enough watching UT play in 2 Peach Bowls, the Independence or Music City Bowl...definitely not worth the trip.

I have to agree with Cutcliffe. He was talking about Ainge yesterday on tv and said that whom ever the next OC at UT is will have to break him back down head to toe.

Both Crompton and Ainge have great arms, I believe it comes down to a clean slate with the new OC.

Its not either QBs job to lose.
