Ive done a lot of CrossFit style workouts. Let your pride go, push yourself, but listen to your body. It will tell if youre simply reaching new strength/mobility/endurance levels or if youre actually hurting yourself

It's common knowledge that the founder of CrossFit just took other workouts and blended them. It's possible Volfanbill did Olympic lifts, high cardio, calisthenics, high intensity. Any one of or multiple of those and not be doing the CrossFit as a whole but bits and pieces. The CrossFit is just a brilliant trademark on the idea of blended workouts. I needed the training on form and such which is why I enrolled in the CrossFit gym to be taught by more experienced people. Technically I could do my own thing and some might be CrossFit workouts and some may not. That doesn't make me a Crossfitter.
