Was pathetic. I've never heard less energy in a game. Watching it on TV, I would forget there even was a crowd.

They didn't have much to cheer about, but there could have been more enthusiam, yeah.

Eh, we're Tennessee fans, a win is just a given. No need to try and create an advantage. Tennessee fans don't get the difference between making things difficult for the whole game versus clapping their hands only when it's needed.

After playing road games at Florida and SC, it is very evident that our home court advantage is virtually non-existent compared to other teams in the SEC.

Let's not forget that for all practical purposes, this was an 11 AM game.

Attendance was better than I thought it would be for a game that didn't really matter, save seeding, which probably doesn't matter for this team.

I can guarantee you that if the game was in another team's gym, it would've been louder. Tennessee fans are just lazy and I'm not just saying that because of today, it's always been a gripe of mine.

you mean you would have cheered watching these lazy stupid players?.....oh and lack of focus too....i'm sure that's going to be one of the excuses we hear after the game....

Considering it was close the entire game....yes, I would have been cheering. I still say we played crappy with or without the crowd. I'm not saying it's why we lost. It's just pretty sad.

But they donate so much...

I love how people who sat/sit at home on their couches watching the game want to comment on the crowd that actually went to the game. If you have such an issue with the crowd pony up some money and attend the games and make your prescence known. Of course watching at home you really don't know if the crowd or parts of the crowd are yelling and cheering. I have season tickects in the upperdeck and our section cheers but you would never know it on TV, plus it sometimes is hard to offer up encouragement to this team when the team makes the same boneheaded mistakes over an over again but to my earlier point, if you are not at TBA I don't think you can say a whole lot about the crowd. Just my 2 cents.

SAE Boxing tournament was this weekend was probably the reason no students showed up. A three day drinking binge makes it hard to get up for an 11 o clock game on sunday morning.

There were +20k there. It's hard to cheer with the kind of play I saw. The most noise the crowd made was for referee calls.

actually I sit in 329. I realize that some of us don't live in Knoxville and can't attend games but you still have no real gripe to complain about the crowd you were watching on TV. You can not tell what is going on in the upper deck or the top of the lower deck when watching on TV. As an example, I know from the past few games that there were not but a handfull of students behind the goal but if you put 20 students lined up in a row 3 deep on camera it appears that the student section is full when it isn't just like it might seem that there is no noise from the crowd when there is. Point is if you can make it to the games come on but if you can't then don't make judgements from your couch or recliner.
