Are u an idiot? How is that the receivers fault? It wasn't a route it was a step back.

The issue was the taunting for a number of reasons.

Are you an idiot? It wasn't a "step back" he ran a route.

Rewatch the tape.

Apology accepted.

The taunting was uncalled for.

But it was a legal hit IMO.

Still he shouldn't of went that hard at a teammate at a spring game.

It was probably legal. I just didn't like the standing over the teammate.

Dude was fully knocked out. I get being pumped up and I am sure the kid wasn't trying to be a jerk.

Also, he aimed high and was basically lucky it wasn't to the head.

Granted it's easy to judge after the fact in slo mo.

It wasn't helmet to helmet.

And it was the WR fault toofor putting himself in that situation.

It was a DB going 100% and a WR not paying attention.

If it was the exact same hit, but the WR was paying attention. It would just be a normal play.

Why was the DB punished bc the WR wasn't paying attention and basically didn't look into the backfield at any point in his route?
Im with you it was a clean hit that is a joke to kick him out of the spring game, they are taking the hitting out of football, the NFL is rubbing of on the college game if we follow Roger he will make your game a flag football, i believe in safty but old roger wont stop till they put a red jersey on every QB in 10 years they will blow the whistle when you get 5 yards from the QB.

Back when I played, this was a good clean hit. In fact, you were applauded for it. Crowds cheered, teammates got hype, and you got a sticker on your helmet from the coaches. If you were the player getting hit, you were told to "keep your head on a swivel". And give me a break about it being a spring game. When you scrimmage, you should go full speed regardless of who you are playing against(except no-contact jersey). Oh how the times have changed, and btw, that was just in the 90's.
