Garner isn't getting "out recruited". If we didn't even bother doing an in home after the official, that should be quite telling.
Yeah either that report is out of touch or something else is going on. We didn't "not visit" because we gave up and know we can't get him. Interesting to see how this plays out.

I guess we’ll see if Heupel and Garner felt comfortable enough to not go in home after the OV or if they missed. If they did in fact miss, they either made a terrible decision to not visit him in-home or it was indicated that we weren’t in the top 2. Can’t imagine he would tell us we were out before his Mizzou OV even happened. Harsin being considered for Oregon job could make this a notable weekend watch. Should be an interesting announcement, especially since he’ll be faxing in an NLI from France.

This Neiber guy is an Auburn homer and is just looking at M'ba's twitter. Until I hear from AP/ Hubbs/ Callahan that we are out of it, I think we still have a chance. How are you supposed to do an in-home visit in France anyway?

His “in homes” were just coaches dropping by his school im sure.

Whoops, didn’t realize who that was from. They are the worst…

Regardless of what happened behind the scenes, it is disappointing we apparently are missing out on a position of critical need. Maybe some day we get more good surprises at the conclusion of the signing period instead of being let down. On a similar note, I am tired of losing prospects to Auburn. Seems like it has been that way for 20 years now.

I said yesterday I have no feel for this one

No. Tennessee hasn’t seen him since the end of his official visit on Sunday, to my knowledge. That’s partly because his schedule originally wasn’t going to allow the Vols to see him again. He was planning to go to Missouri after leaving Tennessee, then heading straight to Oregon after his visit with the Tigers.

His visit to Oregon now has been called off, obviously, and it doesn’t sound like he’s going to take another official visit this week. He’s supposed to be heading back to France tomorrow morning, from what I’ve been told.

Still think Tennessee has as good of a shot as anyone. But M’ba’s change of plans this week was too late for the Vols to re-organize things in a way that would’ve allowed Josh Heupel to see him.
