We bought 2+ pounds of ground Bison. HBPW made a meatloaf with the first pound and we just had the second pound as grilled burgers.

DEER LAWD, that is some good eating! Now we are hooked. The next 2 pounds will be in chilli and Salisbury Steaks.

@Behr, any thoughts and tips on ground bison?

Glad you enjoyed it, it's always cool to try something new/different and really be pleased.

Only thoughts are you obviously know it's leaner than beef, so you want to cook it a little slower and don't use as much salt or other seasonings that will dry it out. Burgers are the best way to enjoy it IMO. Meatloaf and chili works too. Other ways like meatballs or in a sauce is a waste IMO.
