The not too long too long didn't read version is I spoke to a counselor and she recommended what I'm doing now. And it's still too much.

It's not the same as culinary school and I'm skeert. Lol.
 
German and French came pretty easily what with all the similar words, but once I tried Russian, I quickly drowned. I don’t do well with non-Latin alphabets! And Hebrew is not Indo-European - I would sink without trace. It’ll be there when you’re ready for it

Nope. Anvil Chorus (Il Trovatore), Va Pensiero (Nabucco), Act II Scene II from La Traviata, Povere Rigoletto! (Act 2, Rigoletto), and the Humming Chorus (ugh), from Madama Butterfly. Since you asked. 😉

“Butterfly” is the only one I’ve ever watched, so I’m clueless about the others, expect that we (the chorus) are variously drunken gypsies, exiled Hebrews, and lascivious courtiers. Whee!
