I have one place but it's way out the way and dude ain't never there. And, they ain't cheap either.
We're blessed here, it's the chicken place, literally. Bunch of chicken farms here, and we have friends who run a few, and we can get fresh eggs. Got a good friend at church who brings us a flat occasionally also.

Then go! There's actually people around here with signs in their front yard advertising eggs for sale. Same folks do it with vegetables also, I've bought off of several of them.
How much they getting for a dozen? Guesstimate.

I saw a sign a while back that was $2.75, but that's the only one I saw a price. I don't know if that's a lot for buying from someone, cause we usually get them free, but that guy sells a lot of stuff I know. He's pretty decent on vegetables for sure, so the egg prices may be cheaper than others. I bought a Walmart bag full of cucumbers from him for $10, that would've been triple at Walmart.

$2.75 for a dozen fresh eggs is a deal. Especially considering supporting a local. If I had that option, I'd eat eggs err meal.
Idk if that's average, but that's what he had them for though.

regular price here in the store is $2.49-2.99

sometimes the 18-count is on sale for 1.99 or the dozen for 1.49, which is about the best I've seen them here

That seems a good price. Had a contact from middle TN that sold fresh green eggs. They were the tastiest eggiest eggs....I think we paid 4-5 for a dozen.

2.75 is not common at all. I bet farmers market are prolly 5 or 6
I'd say that you're right, but this guy does it from his carport. I don't think it's about money to him, and I'm guessing, but something to do. Lady time I stopped to buy tomatoes, him and his wife talked to me for probably 20 minutes 🤣
