Anyone know where you can buy Sailor Boy Pilot bread or similar hard tack in bulk without being priced gouged? Outside of Alaska and Pacific NorthWest I can't find it anywhere. It's made in Virginia I think surely someplace in south carries it. It's the ultimate prepper pantry storage item. Used to get it on Amazon for $9 a 2 lb box which was pretty gougy...but acceptable. But now they only have the 10oz apocalypse cans and are charging double shelf price. They have the 2 lb boxes on ebay for like $17. Keep in mind these sell for like 6.99 In Alaska and Washington, Oregon, Montanna etc. I used to always try and keep 12 or so boxes in the pantry but I only have a couple left. These are awesome because they'll stay good a decade as long as they are stored dry, and I have had my son leave package OPEN, and they were still good 2 years later. a lil cream cheese an d smoked fish and your in heaven.

These are big in northwest because some states have laws that if you have a cabin you must keep it stocked with food in case of emergencies (your required to make cabin available to anyone trapped in area etc) You could buy a bunch of these and canned fish and basically be set. Per teh box the bakery is in Virginia. I would travel all over eastern TN and north GA gladly to buy these in bulk if I knew a place.

I haven't fallen in a while, usually happens when I'm doing something stupid, trying to get to a spot fishing 🤣. I bout took a dive on the treadmill at the gym one day, that would've been the best one. Was watching football, and dude was running with the ball, and I juked trying to avoid the tackle 🤣. That could've been epic, but thankfully I caught myself, and only a couple of people saw me.

I haven't fallen in a while either.

While sober.

@Behr,

Yesterday my pulse ox was 94%. The way I read it that’s an average and I was on the go a lot yesterday, so I’d assume my resting level is at least 2% higher. I’m not too concerned myself, but I’ll be curious what your doctor tells you when you ask him about it

It didn't get any lower during the night?

Last night my low was 90. I'm thinking I've got mild COPD. I'm seeing sawbones tomorrow and see what he's got to say. I almost hope that's what it is, just because I'd know what's been causing these headaches I told yall about and my shortness of breath that's very uncomfortable sometimes. If it's mild I can deal with fairly easily.

We'll see.

Was below 90 for like 75% of this past year... I just finally hit past 95% without oxygen a month or so ago. That said a single flight of stairs now will leave me breathless.....sucks. I have no idea how much lung damage is till have from it, but I am 200% better then I started this year.

Interesting. Did you ever smoke cigarettes?

Maybe I'm reading more into this than there is. Maybe it's a good idea to talk to doc anyway. Might be something but not as bad as copd. Copd just makes sense because of the symptoms and me smoking for as many years as I did. I know it did damage, I'm just waiting to see what.

I'd start taking NAC twice a day, helps lungs heal. With that said (94% or higher is good...) Not everyone cruises at 98%

Never once smoked. I was around second hand smoke from my dad. But I don’t get easily winded or anything like that. I don’t have unexplained coughs. I just hiked nine miles and I cycle all the time.
