My uncle has a place there and loves it. They say it's the fishing capital of the world, but I don't know who "they" are and why it's the capital. I've been there but never spent more than an afternoon and night. That's probably where I would go if I were you. I'd at least look at Marathon so I'd feel hood about looking and choosing between the 2 best spots in the Keys.

I saw marathon as well, but hadn't looked at it yet. I saw the thing about fishing, and started focusing on it. Saw a cool place called Robbie's that had fishing charters, sunset cruises, feeding tarpon. Just sounds really cool, I just hope Tiffany gets in a spot to be able. Her Dr in Weston would like to see her, so maybe. Told her we could go stay like Monday - Thursday, then go to the Dr on the way home Friday. I'm just daydreaming right now 🤣

You got me thinking I may try to go down there this weekend, then I checked the weather. Brrr.

Didn't have much time to wander, but made it thru Key Largo and to Islamorada before having to find my way back to miami for work. Both of those were quite nice and not sure the trip is worth going further out or not. I'm sure the food and fishing won't improve a whole lot, if any. Have no desire to do Key West.

It's definitely worth going further if 1. You want to try new places 2. If you're going to Key West anyway.

Marathon has nice beaches and snorkeling around the barrier reefs. The loggerheads nest there and are cool to see and The Dolphin Research Center has interactive demos in a lagoon that's super cool, especially for kids.

I wanted to go to Key West just to say I went. I'm glad I did. Have no desire to ever go back, but glad I went. There's some history there and you can actually feel it in certain areas.

Figure it out. And I'm not being a smart-ass. I don't remember and I never preheat so whatever I tell you will be different than what you're gonna need. I think I did 350 for about 12-15 minutes. Others say 400 for 15 minutes. I don't use milk.

Thanks, fair enough. I’m still trying to get a feel for times and temps among conventional oven - convection oven - air fryer. Something that will come with time.
