Only other thing I can think of is are you looking at all the time? Screen time could be hurting it. But I can’t fathom it affects it that much
GPS time is fine. Brain fart.

Charged it last night same time as Thursday night. Switched the watchface back to my favorite and took all but 3 things off my "glance" (had 14). I ran so far awa...uh, anyway, I ran the same amount of time today as yesterday. When I finished I had 87%. That was at 10:37. It's 2:00 and it's still on 87%.

Another brain fart obviously. Takes alot of battery to constantly update all that info which is all on my phone and some of it is on my watchface too. Lol.

Cheer up; FWIW, my Apple watch 8 battery is good for ~30 hours (better than the 18 they claim, BUT STILL)

I'd like to let it run down as far as I can before recharging but with a 30-hour cycle, it's pretty impossible.

And my MacBook Air goes for 7-10 days between recharges. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, Apple!

Oh I'm good. I was just trying to understand the sudden jump.

It uses 1% about every 5 minutes on GPS.

I started at 100% last night at 9:30. At 7:03 it was 98%. After 59 minutes of GPS use it was 87%. It's still on 87% now. And that's with a watchface that shows seconds, weather temp, wind speed, humidity, calories burned active and total, steps, battery and body battery. All constantly updated.

So no, I ain't complaining.

Yesterday at 2:40 pm under the same scenario it was at 76%

Remember "energy vampires"? Was that Butch?

There are definitely specific energy vampires out there in electronics land.
