That is the Italian dressing my wife likes best, also.If I’m not making dressing from scratch every time (life’s too short!), I use Ken’s Lite Northern Italian Basil and Romano dressing and add olive oil to get it to a better consistency. Olive oil isn’t “less bad” for you; it’s actually good for you, lowering your LDL cholesterol.

That sounds good. Do they make it non lite?If I’m not making dressing from scratch every time (life’s too short!), I use Ken’s Lite Northern Italian Basil and Romano dressing and add olive oil to get it to a better consistency. lol: didn’t answer your question! No, interestingly, I’ve never seen a naughty version. That sounds good. Do they make it non lite?
I’m going to try it. Like you, I make my own mostly, but like a good bottled dressing.lol: didn’t answer your question! No, interestingly, I’ve never seen a naughty version.
From what I’ve seen, grocery products called “lite” are either low in sugar/carbs or low in fat, rarely both. This one’s both: 1g carbs (0 sugar) and 4.5g fat, of which 0.5 is sat fat, probably the Romano cheese, and 0 trans fat. I think the whopping carb count comes from the diced red peppers in there.
I really like the minced herbs and vegetables in there. Good flavor.
