Gwinnutia has a plethora of seafood restaurants that feature low country boils with crawfish, shrimp, snow crab clusters, potatoes, corn, and sometimes mussels or sausage. Almost all of these are operated by Asians, mostly Vietnamese immigrants and/or their children. They’ve adapted to local tastes. Most have a small fried menu - fish, shrimp, oysters, fries, and hush puppies. Some offer alternative Asian seasonings & sauces. The best of these closed/moved awhile back. I tried a new one today for lunch. Their fried fish special was tilapia or swai, french fries or hush puppies, coleslaw. Though it was prepared to order, served hot & fresh, it was bland.
