I watched a video yesterday of a Jaguar jumping into a river to eat either a croc, alligator or caiman. Couldn't tell what it was but it was unrealPicture from an article I done seent a minute ago. My mom and grandma made a bunch of different ones to. I'd kill for some of it now. Just didn't know how good i had it back then.I used to sit in the kitchen and watch my Grandmother make preserves of all kinds. If the last of the batch wouldn't fill the jar, she'd mix them. The one I remember most is a mix of cantaloupe and fig preserves. Hot out the pot. That stuff was gooood!

The best cooks in my world were my Grandmother and my Aunt Ruth at #1, #3 was the lady who managed the Claxton Elementary lunch room, and #4 was her daughter when she took over the lunch room.
