I’m struggling mightily right now. I know, I know. I do say to myself, like I do to y’all, one moment in time and it is. I’m really struggling now and I’m not a spring chicken. Cluck Cluck. I was supposed to work through this weekend, but I have an awesome boss that told me to take Saturday off. I didn’t mean that facetious. She really is great and has been supportive. Enough of 7 1/2 sentences about me. How has it been going for you? I know recruiting wasn’t what you, uh, were looking for my friend. (If you’ve said already, then I sux for not paying attention 😞).

It’s going. I start my first two week vacation Sunday. Then work two weeks and another two weeks off. Recruiting is a giant struggle across the entire DOD, some reports even calling it a crisis. So a lot of people are yelling, but obviously something major at the top has to change. The stress gets to me, but I’m finding ways to cope with it.

Hope you enjoy your well earned Saturday off! What’s causing your struggle? I know I’ve seen you posting about a crazy workload. Is it that or that and something else? Either way, praying for you my friend!

Workload and what day is this? 😁. Unfortunately what you describe with recruiting is going on throughout the workforce. Youngsters don’t have any ambition. A lot different when I was in. I don’t think it’s just the non parental guidance, but education and non mentors that give a crap on both fronts.

I have a lot to say about it. But not here. At least not right now. I don’t think it’s just the kids and their ambition

I think after kids graduate high school they need a mandatory enlistment in the military. There are way too many lazy ass trouble making teenagers running around these days. They need an introduction to real life.

I could agree with putting them all through BMTS, but I wouldn't wish non-volunteers on anyone.

I don't disagree about the lazy ass entitled people but I don't trust the government not to send them off to some stupid war we don't need

I have a few working for me and yes, they get a true introduction to life when they work for me. That’s the only way I can help them.
