It’s because mistreatment of women, biases, and bigotry are bigger sins today than loss of life, including murder.

Look at where so many people’s emotional capital is spent these days.

Because that makes the media and politicians wrong about the praise they pushed for him with direct policy. This is a simple me too ousting. Mildly intelligent people can see through the ******** but we don't have as many as we originally thought in this country.

That's exactly it. It allows the political left and the media to acknowledge that Cuomo needs to go while absolving themselves of their hero worship. What matters is not holding leaders accountable for their decisions, but rather avoiding having to say "I was wrong."

I get sicker and sicker with every revelation. I pray these decisions were truly made in ignorance and that there was no ulterior motive in these edicts.As much as he need to take the blame and resulting punishment, he did not make this choice in a vacuum so other heads should roll too.

I highly doubt these decisions were made maliciously. In fact, as a NYer, I would be much more forgiving if there was just an admission that there were some poor decisions made in the moment and appropriate attempts at correcting those errors.

However, his arrogance to admit a mistake and the media’s failure to adequately investigate this has actually made it much worse for him and them.

I still don't think anything will happen to him. I will be shocked if it does. I think the only thing is that he won't seek a fourth term or whatever 'to spend time with the family' or some other nonsense.

Never admit you are wrong and just double down. It's the media/politician way.
