Cuonzo and staff trying hard at CPA

So coach Maddox made it a point to only credit and shout out coach Martin and Tennessee?

If true, that really proves what I've been saying.

Yup. From what I can see...Providence, Florida, Ohio State, and Tech all came to see him as well. I don't follow twitter but pretty nice for him to shout out Martin if all of those coaching staffs were present.

Thats very blatant but I like it...like I've said, I heard he REALLY likes CCM so let's hope!

Yes, I went to college with the strength coach at Ensworth. I never said private schools were not good pipelines and comparing CPA to Ensworth is a joke. I agree, if talent is at CPA, then let Martin go to work. But considering CPA a future pipeline for the Vols, with a current Vandy alum as their coach and small student body in a tiny league, is simply a stretch. Just my opinion clearly.

No, CPA will never compete with Ensworth in regards to turning out talent, but does Ensworth currently have more talent on their team than CPA right now? You think people cared how much time they spent on recruiting Peyton Manning and where he went to high school? You take the extra time to recruit a kid if he's a special talent no matter what high school he goes to is all I'm saying.

With the AAU pipeline and name recognition that Maddux has established right now CPA will continue to be a hotbed of basketball talent. They will routinely have DIV 1 talent until Maddux leaves the school.

If you are asking me if Ensworth has more talent than CPA I have no earthly idea. I never brought up Ensworth as you mentioned that school to begin with. I admitted, if there is talent at CPA, "let Martin go to work". I agree we want good kids regardless of school. Small, public, private ... whatever.

They don't. However, you were saying CPA is nowhere near the school that Ensworth is and I'd agree when it comes to football. Hoops is another animal and Maddux has gotten some talent to come there. I don't think you ignore going to a smaller school as long as they keep having talent is what most are on here saying.

Just FWIW...CPA is recruiting(encouraging, whatever you wanna call it) at a really high level these past few years for good basketball players. Do not be surprised if they get some more transfers (like Braxton Blackwell) who are high level talents.

Uhm...you may wanna look in the record books, they already have.
We'd have to do something horrible in this day and age for they to pull something. If NCAA lets UNC do their own "internal investigation" over that travisty it would be a clear double standard if they punished us.

What im saying is that the NCAA is becoming a joke.

“@DrewMaddux: CPA (Nashville, TN) 2016 6'6"*
SF Braxton Blackwell had a triple double last night with 18 pts, 20 rebounds, 12 blks along w/ 6 assists.”

I figured you would say he's a Vol lock per insider info.

I guess BTO is just hedging bets and predicting that all Vol recruits commit to Memphis. He's bound to be right a majority of the time.

EDIT: Also interesting to note that BTO is the one interjecting the thread's first Memphis reference. Not sure what it has to do with CPA. Y'all may want to consider this next time Memphis fans are accused of hijacking threads around here to discuss Memphis stuff.
