9 seed on ESPN, ahead of 2 SEC teams.

Crashing the Dance

9 seed on CTD, ahead of 1 SEC team.

BYU snags No. 1 seed in NCAA tournament Bracket Watch - Andy Glockner - SI.com

8 seed on SI, there are no SEC teams lower than an 8 seed.

If it's worth anything, Glockner just participated in a mock selection hosted by the committee.

8-9 seeds are the toughest to win.

So you're thinking we'd be worse off at 8 or 9 than we would be at 11 or 12, or even 14?

We're an 8 in most projections.

Crashing the Dance has us at an 8, playing Illinois in the first round. I'd be fine with that matchup. Of course, I'd highly prefer to move up to a 6 or 7, but for now that's alright.

The national media is praying for Tennessee-Illinois.
