CWS Game Thread - Other Games

You don’t go 52-10 by accident. They’re very, very good. Floyd is just pitching the game of his life right now. They have some big bats in their lineup.
The ACC was pretty pathetic this year. 3 top 16 seeds and 2 don’t even make it out of regionals. Floyd is pitching great but I don’t think they’re used to seeing his power either and his power is middle of the road in the SEC. Clemson fans were impressed with Ammons as their heat guy; he was 90-93. They were blown away after that game that we had 3 guys who could hit 95+, they were dumbfounded when we told them we had 6-7. There’s been 3 guys throw over 100 so far in Omaha, all 3 are SEC guys. I think it’s truly just a different animal than what these guys are used to. They were also essentially shut down by a Stanford rotation on Saturday, with an average ERA of 5+ between those who threw.

Looking like we'll see Wake tomorrow. Means if we make it to LSU, we'll probably see Skenes again. Don't like that.

We faced Stanford’s ace today and knocked him off the bump in the 5th. I still think TN can adjust and have success against Skenes and get to their pen earlier next game.

Edit - LSU’s hitting concerns me as their entire lineup can hit.

I’m tired of hearing about everyone that isn’t a Vol, tbh. The rest of the SEC can kick rocks.

Hear Hear....Paul can deflate himself and fly his loser teammates back to Baton Rouge tomorrow night

Yup, I said it earlier. Floyd is average in SEC standards, but to Wake hes another level.

I don't know where they found these umpire crews for the NCAA tournament, but my goodness they are terrible.

There hasn't been one game where I haven't scratched my head on the calls of balls and strikes.

The sport of college baseball, and especially the postseason tournaments, deserve to have consistent and accurate officiating. This has been disgraceful.
