And to get to the “get there” is double elimination. One hot player or cold night doesn’t make the difference. The team must perform, consistently. It is the best.

I’ve always thought the first weekend of March Madness is the best weekend or “round” in American college sports , but March Madness isn’t as fun or competitive after that first weekend. From start to finish I love how baseball does it, but I understand the March Madness argument !

Completely agree. Once the tourney starts, you can actually lose 4 times (all rounds combined) and still win the NC. Baseball should never be a game where it’s one and done. This tourney has it right!

Too many camera shots of certain people annoy the hell outta me. They tell a story of the coaches daughter and now we’re gonna have to hear about it at least 100 more times before the end of the game.

Glad to get CWS on the big screen. Weather, with the neverending storm alerts (Texas had it bad again)_ have dominated the TV day as kids wended their way from STL to Fort Morgan. We hit road in morning and check-in is 4 pm. Realty company just sent Mrs AV a message that featured neverending umbrellas.
