That was absolute destruction. LSU has got to fight hard to not let one loss turn into 2 or tomorrow could get out of hand in a hurry early. Florida has all the momentum.
LSU fans are whining on Tigerdroppings about how the championship series should be played next weekend to “make sure both of the final two teams are at their best”…
No, that's how this stuff works-- if your team got some rest, it's because you haven't lost as many games. Also, it should be about all your pitchers/players, not just one unhittable ace.LSU fans are whining on Tigerdroppings about how the championship series should be played next weekend to “make sure both of the final two teams are at their best”…
If they had ran undefeated like UF, their pitching would be on schedule and they’d have no qualms. They didn’t take care of business accordingly therefore the format needs to be adjusted to accommodate their shortcomings.LSU fans are whining on Tigerdroppings about how the championship series should be played next weekend to “make sure both of the final two teams are at their best”…
There’s more than plenty of history going the other way as well. Can LSU get off the mat and play well enough in their 8th game in 9 days to bounce back? We’ll find out soon enough. There’s a lot of history of teams winning a blowout and coming back to lose subsequent games, see Arkansas vs NC state and Yankees vs Red Sox
And if both teams were fresh, we’d be right where we are now. Skenes would have pitched yesterday With no shot to pitch on one day rest. The way it is now, is fair and requires a strategic coaching decision regarding the pitching. I can see the merit in the “both teams at full strength” argument, however think about the stress on both fan bases, not many people can take two weeks off.
I thought LSU is a college baseball blue blood, so how come it sounds like their fans don’t know that’s how it always works
Openly hoping for a gators win has me like...
