Hats off to Texas man only scoring 4 and coming out with a win against Tech is tough the problem is who they go with tomorrow. I don’t know who their midweek guy is but I’m gonna assume they go with him? Tech is gonna go with Hursey who is coming off of a complete game 1 run effort against Mo St with Roberts available out of the pen. From what I have seen so far if Hursey has good command tomorrow the odds are going to be on Techs side

When you don’t have command of a single pitch and a walk puts you three down the fastball is the safest bet but hey Bragga saw something there to be confident with the deuce.... twice

Probably because the last fastball that kid saw went 450 feet but just a touch foul lol.

I would say I am extremely comfortable in my understanding of this game called baseball. You could learn some things from me I feel certain

I will have to give it to ya I may give ya some crap but you have shown to know a thing or two especially about the small ball game.

Haha if he had hung it like he did in one of the previous ABs it prolly would’ve gone further. Gutsy call but hey as a hitter there knowing he’s struggling to hit the zone I would’ve been looking fastball all the way

Why would they go with their midweek guy?

Was that their 3rd starter today used in relief?

It was an interesting move but hey you would rather burn him and have to worry about who you’re gonna have to throw vs be done

Yea it's the thing to do if you are down 0-1. They likely would have had a bigger lead if they hadn't bunted both the 1st and 2nd innings and could have saved him. Really dumb imo

That’s where the ABC baseball mentality can hurt you. That’s why I’m saying the odds are in Techs favor now the only danger I have seen in Texas’ lineup has been Clemens and that’s with mediocre pitching. If Tech gets 5+ runs they will struggle to keep up.

they aren't great offensively I agree. I expect Roberts to pitch and a bunch tomorrow

If Tech is within 2 runs the 5th I’m bringing him in. 8 innings in relief over a weekend may be excessive but if it means a trip to Omaha I’m bringing in my gamer.

If you believe in the pitch count being the only thing that matters Moths is good for 15-20 tomorrow

Would you throw the kitchen sink at them for Omaha? I say yes but Moths right now ain’t even part of the incoming plumbing from the city to the house. Ha ain’t nowhere near that kitchen sink.

Just turned it on and saw his HR on replay, at first I thought he was pointing towards his dugout and then realized he was pointing to the TT dugout unless his girlfriend was in the 1st row behind the dugout......what’s up with that?

It appeared to me Clemons wasn't the only cocky Longhorn on the field, although he gets the first place ribbon. I hope Tech bombs them for 12 runs tomorrow.

No idea what you are saying but if Moths pitches tomorrow it's a travesty beyond measure.

Roberts is in reasonable play but for only 1-2 innings

Just an unreal great game at Fullerton. I didn't think Washington should have made the tourney at all but wow they are heading to Omaha
