Anyone else find it odd there was a thread over 600 pages for a tight end? A position that would not have made that great of an immediate impact. Yet less than 10 pages for a QB that would make us a playoff contender now and a possibly bring us our first ever Heisman trophy! Weird...

What's odd about a thread for someone we were actually pursuing being longer than a thread for someone we're not pursuing?

Recruit thread pages = (number of stars * (number of rivals competing for same player + troll posters present in the thread)) + pages of random GIFs and complete nonsense tomfoolery

In case of the DW thread:
600 pages = (5 star * (2 rivals + 3 trolls present)) + 475 pages of balderdash

The maths say it was mostly buncombe.

I didn’t know it was a “stance”. Thought he was lightly referencing Hubbs. He’s a talented player but I don’t get this great thing happening vibe.

he wants there to be legit pressure on everyone in that room. err'body should be looking over their shoulder. and i get that...competition.

siap earlier in the thread....i've been generally against going after a GT or transfer QB simpmly because of numbers, and there aren't a bevvy of elite qb's out there looking for greener pasures...in general, i don't know that there's many out there that would be considered upgrades over anything we currently have.

but this kid is as close to elite as there is, so i would make an exception here....
