D coordinator

Dooley Haters are just going to hate and say he is a lousy coach period. In reality, he has done a heck of a job improving our talent position and if anybody remembers how bad our offense was when he first took over (Simms at QB, thanks Kiffen), then you have to admit they have done a great job improving that.
I think with the right hire at DC, Dooley can absolutely be a winning coach and improve our defense as well.
I dont get it either. Its just hate. Why dont more of this hate go towards Sals Sorry @$$.If we had even a average Defense coordinator we would only have two loses. But lets just blame it all on Dooley.Sal should have been fired two weeks ago.Guess since the AD is your buddy it do.n't matter .I just wish I knew the truth and who is to blame for Sal being here
And want other coaches we were after.Other day i heard ainge say steele but after he gave up 70 they said no.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to let Sal go and find a D coordinator that knew what the hell he was doing? The O is fine we just need DEFENSE more than a new coach. Just a thought. :loco:

If they do that it will be hard to get a good DC to come here.

Fire Dooley and hire a Defensive minded head coach. Keep Sal as LB coach with current contract. That is if you want to go cheap. I hope TN blows the hold thing up and goes after a Big Name Head Coach.

BIG NAME COACHES: Phil Fulmer, Mack Brown, Bobby Petrino, Al Groh, Lou Holtz, Lee Corso.............. Any of these float your boat?:eek:lol:

Get rid of Sal, get new DC, and we still have Dooley as HC. That means we still have what many believe to be a pathetic game manager as HC. Also, it seems that Dooley has waited way too long to get personally involved in the defense. Best to tell him good-bye too, because we need an SEC-level HC.

No, money is the key. Will Haslam, Thorton etc be willing to pay like Bama boosters did. They never have. Gruden was interested after Kiffin, but TN wouldn't Annie up,!
