I think the lack of QB pressure from the front four has put too much responsibility on our secondary for the most part this season. However, I see no excuse for losing a receiver as big as Monk in traffic.

Exactly, that's what I am saying. If you give their quarterback that much time to throw, I believe even a high school quarterback could complete that pass. We just put so much pressure on our secondary.

Give me a break. If you can't tell he is constantly out of place, you must not be very football savvy. I'll be sure to remember the armchair qb remark the next time you offer an opinion about a football team.

Ur A a truly classless fan. He is a 19-20 kid learning the game and doing what he can to help the vols win. Blame the coaches like Sanders last year for the offensive mistakes , but to throw a 19-20 kid under the bus and demean as if he is the worst defensive player is just pure trash. YOu are a pure joke.

I cant beleive mods allow threads to trash fellow vol players in this manner. Just adding fuel to the fire for opposing SEC fans.

If I think a player played poorly in a game, I will not act like he is the second coming of Deion Sanders. Posters on here routinely bash Antwan Stewart. Why don't you jump on their backs? Who brought up Randy Sanders, anyway? I actually felt sorry for Sanders. The criticism of him reached his family. That's a lot different than criticizing a player on an internet message board. It's not like I'm sending the guy hatemail. The point is he isn't that good and we should have someone else starting in his safety position. I think that is somewhat the coaches' fault for not making him better or having someone better on the roster to take his place.

Criticizing a player is perfectly within the rules of this message board. Insulting other posters is not. You've insulted me several times. Don't tell me what trash is. I read it every time you enter a post.

I think Morley is a fine player. A great run stopper. He is only a sophmore. By the time he's a senior the people criticizing him will pe pushing him for awards. If our D-Line gets better, so will our secondary.

Can we get an Amen? Amen!

Mixed feelings about Morley.

He reminds me of Antwan Stewart. Stewart got burned badly against Auburn and lost his starting corner job to J. Allen. It was very apparent after the Miami game J Allen was going to be a star. Stewart came back his senior and redeemed himself but he never was the star CB. Probably what will happen with Morley.

Morely also made some good plays this season. He's not going to be perfect as sophmore..

Holy crap what is this kid doing out on the feild. He is quiet possibly the worst saftey to play the game ar Tn. He has no clue on how to cover someone, looks terrified when #5 was coning at him and gives a piss poor effort at attacking. Id there no one else that can play saftey? Very dissappointed.:dunno:
What???

He is a beast.

Today he proved that he can get tackled at the line of scrimmage.

Haha, he had 22 yards against a tough Jacksonville defense. I knew you'd be all over it. Addai has been the best rookie runningback in the NFL this season, and the most consistent. He's entitled to a bad week.

I'd take Lawrence Maroney first, whom I think the Colts would have taken if he were available. Anyway, Addai has been good, I just thought it was odd that someone resurrected an old thread to praise Addai on the same day he had a bad game.

As Bill Polian has said, the Colts would've taken Maroney if he had been available. But the Colts are very happy with the complete runningback that Addai is developing into. Yeah, I didn't see that this thread was brought up again for Addai... not a good day to do that.
