D4H's 2017 College Football Season Preview

Highly doubtful that Michigan makes the playoffs. They still have Penn State, Wisconsin, and Ohio State on the schedule with 1 loss already, and Wilton Speight is out for the rest of the season.

Penn State has played nobody. Wisconsin is garbage. And they get Ohio State at home.

Contrary to the media narrative the Big 10 is a weak conference. Those teams look artificially good. I don't think any are that good. Michigan just has the best chance because they get Ohio State at home.

Florida State (1-3) is in worse shape than Tennessee (3-2). And most people had FSU in the final 4.

I know people like to have amnesia now that the season started on what the common thinking was in the preseason. But most people had FSU as the class of the ACC not Clemson. In fact I was higher on Clemson than most because I had them winning the ACC this year instead of Florida State.

Here is the difference:

FSU is done because of something you can't predict: a season-ending injury to their starting QB.

Tennessee is done because of something that was very easily predictable: lousy coaching.

Found an exclusive video of D4H at his job. Please watch and you'll get some idea where his predictions come from.

Do you even read what you type?

Florida State is playing a true freshman QB, held Alabama to 24 points, and lost their other two games by a combined 10 points, but they are worse off than Tennessee? Come back at the end of October and see if that's still the case after we have two shutouts in the same season on the books.

Francois would have made no difference. FSU's problem is a lousy offensive line and an overrated defense.

The freshmen QB has actually played really well. I think it'll be his job next year even if Francois comes back. He's the more talented player.

Good grief. Troll better.

Did you even watch the Northwestern game? Northwestern dedicated their entire defense to stopping Saquon Barkley and that opened up huge passing lanes for McSorely to find other guys. That is why Penn State won so easily on the road.

And even then Barkley still had some amazing plays that no other RB could do.

You need to watch the games more rather than just looking at the box scores afterwards.

The reason Barkley busted the long run is because the umpire got in the way of the safety which opened up the 2nd level for him

Good grief. Troll better.

Did the true freshmen not drive his team down the field with less than 2 minutes left and score the go-ahead TD? James Blackman did his job against Miami. It was that overrated defense at FSU that let Miami drive the ball right down the field and score the game-winning TD in the last few seconds. James Blackman deserves zero blame for FSU's terrible season. They have been losing because they are not as good as people thought. Their offensive line is absolutely terrible. One of the worst in the power 5. And their defense is overrated as usual.

Blaming James Blackman for this weak start is like Bama fans trying to blame Jalen Hurts passing for why they lost the natty last year. When the reality is Hurts put them in position to win the national championship against Clemson and it was that overrated Bama defense that allowed Clemson to drive the ball down the field in the final few seconds for the game-winning TD.

Keep trying to deflect because you can't counter my arguments.

You are certifiably insane.

The fact that he hasn't been bad doesn't mean he's better than Francois.

Why are all of your predictions so extreme? It's not enough for a guy to be good, he has to be a guaranteed Hall of Famer. It's not enough for a guy to be average, he has to be a scrub. It's not enough that Blackman has done okay, he has to have beaten Francois out for the job.

Dude, never go full retard. You're implying that Utah didn't make it the #1 defensive priority to stop the nation's leading rusher who was averaging 11ypc. I mean, I DARE you to make less sense. (and to their credit they had some success... he only had 152y at 7.6ypc.

I put him (D4) on my ignore because he seems like someone that has addiction issues in the same way that alcoholics and gamblers do. A person that is addicted to say gambling will blame the horse or even the track conditions for the losing of the race -- they never question their ability or inability to pick the horse correctly. Its always someone or something else's fault for the bad call -- never the addict's fault. You will see he generally deflects how bad he actually is -- he will than point to some meaningless stat like - I'm 6 for 10, when in actuality a monkey could have done the same thing by throwing darts at a board.

The alternative, I thought, he might be one of the most prolific trolls of all-time -- I mean the amount of worthless effort he puts into some of these posts is actually quite mind numbing. Again, this would probably lead to a conclusion that he might have mental issues of some type which also warrants putting him on ones ignore.

You mean THIS Georgia?

"LOL @ thinking Georgia is Alabama.

You dawg fans are so delusional.

Can't wait to hear the calls to fire Kirby Smart this year after y'all lose to Tennessee, Auburn, and Georgia Tech."

A lot can change in a season. I was wrong about Kirby Smart. He's an elite coach and he's making the most of the Georgia roster.

I don't see much in the way of elite NFL talent on this Georgia team. But they have a great coach. And they've bought in.

Georgia will win the national title this year. You can book it.

Your preseason predictions are crap. You're not knowledgeable in football

James Blackman is better. And has way more upside.

Just watch what happens next year. Francois is not getting the job back. Its James Blackman's job moving forward.

You are wrong. In 11 months you'll be proven wrong. And it doesn't matter because you'll never admit to being wrong no matter how obvious it is that you are wrong.

We found ourselves another wrong prediction. No worries bc he is the best at picking the champion once the final 4 is announced
