For those complaining about the heat in Dallas; add New Orleans style humidity and you have Houston!

Denver is where I have admitted time and time again that I would like to live and work in

Yeah, it is still around, though I have never made it over there.

As you might imagine, there is plenty of good Mexican and Tex-Mex food to be had in the area

I've lived in all three places. Currently, I have a house in both Dallas and Houston areas. Denver would be last on my list.

The economy in TX is pretty good right now. Houston is especially good with all the influence from gas and oil.

Why would Denver be last on your list? Just curious. I've never been there, but you seem to be the only one who has this opinion of the place.

Isn't Houston a really high crime city?

1) Cost of living
2) Business environment
3) Political leanings

Don't get me wrong.... there are great things about Denver. I just prefer Texas.

Colorado also just enacted some gun laws that would prevent me from living there.

I lived in Denver for a couple years and it's not a "pretty" or "beautiful" city there are hardly any trees and vegetation like you find in both Texas cities. When you look at the grass in lawns and sides of the roads it's brown or unhealthy green, the air is dry, windy, winters can be very cold, Did I mention there are no trees? probably the hipster capitol of the country and the new laws with marijuana are disturbing to say the least. I could go on, it's no nice southern city.
