I've heard Dane say many times how much he loves and respects Bruce Pearl. If he hasn't already, Dane needs to nonshalantly mention how much he loved playing for Bruce when he comes into contact with Boss Thunder.

Bruce screwed up, but it will be really hard to watch him dominating at Alabama or Boston College next year.

Cuonzo is a great man, but he's an average coach. Bruce is a great coach, but he's an average man. I'll take the great coach any day!

Im pretty sure he doesn't have to be nonchalant about it. He can be right out in open. Thunder saw how Dane an pearls relationship as player/coach play out. being a booster sitting closer than the rest of us. And as soon as he was hired forward you know stories have been exchanged. Also whenever Dane is on radio he has raved about Coach pearl so you know he has relayed that stuff to Thunder.

He could probably do a lot worse than Bama. They are going to be talented next year IMO. Can't see them parting ways with AG knowing he's got players ready to go next year. But if they do, Bruce could fall into a gold mine in Tuscaloser. Lord, please may it never be. I dread playing / recruiting against CBP.

He also gave extra tickets to a family (pretty sure this was also Williams).

That last bump violation was the final straw iirc. That is unless the administration was just promising to stick with him, while planning to dump him at the end all along. If so, I can't see Bruce staying so positive toward UT like he has. Also can't see Hambone being that savvy.
