Will race NASCAR full time. Finalizing a deal to run the whole Nationwide series. I really don't know why I started a thread on this since I'm not a fan, but maybe some of you guys or gals are.

What is everyones thoughts on how she does? I'm not expecting too much from her.

Im thinking outside the top 15 in points. I really hope she does well enough to stick around for 2 reasons.
1.) I'm a nice guy and don't wish her to fail
2.) her personality would be good for the sport, and I want to see how she is treated once she does one of her stomping around go after another driver pout fests.

She won't have a better chance to win in a stock than she would in Indy.

Good riddance.

I'd rather see her in Playboy

I wonder how this would affect the sponsorship of #5 car? I doubt Go Daddy would sponsor a full season of Nationwide for her along with 20 or so races in Cup.

Plenty of trim in the pipeline too, so this isn't a loss from that standpoint either.

Google Shannon McIntosh.

I'm curious to see who Andretti eventually hires to replace her, his last two hires seem solid.

it needs to be somebody who can set up a car. right now, he has nobody who can do that.

it's really no surprise their decline coincides with Dario leaving. losing TK only added fuel to the fire.

Good points all. I know TK was their main setup guy the last few years, especially at Indy.

I hope she does well. She started showing a little bit of improvement in a stock car late last year and early this year. It was only a matter of time before she was going to have to decide between Indy and NASCAR. Jr will probably love the increased cash flow from both merchandise and sponsorship.

Terry Blount doesn't think she'll be with JR Motorsports next year, he thinks she'll be running KHI equipment. He also thinks Stewart-Haas could likely be her Cup team...

I guess $$$$ talks in Nascar these days but I hope Tony doesn't throw her in a cup car without her running a full nationwide schedule. She def needs some more seat time.

Those would be horrible combinations for all parties involved.

I was surprised when he mentioned KHI in the chat. I've always heard SHR mentioned as her possible Cup team though. She'll bring in enough money to fully sponsor her ride and finish funding Ryan's so its a win-win for Tony.

Good luck to them and her equipment. This has FAIL written all over it.

I would expect results somewhere around those posted by Sam Hornish. Perhaps without quite the number of wrecks. She does seem to know her limitations better than Sam did.

I agree. She will NEVER win in a stock car. Ever.
