Maybe not a billionaire but I would guess damn close considering all her assets and royalties. I read awhile back she still makes a few mil each year just from I will always love you

She’s definitely done well, and her husband stayed in the construction business IIRC.

If you have traveled much internationally (as I have had to), you know that people outside of the U.S. only know a few things about the state of Tennessee which are Elvis, Dolly, And country music.
Here’s Dollys net worth. i know she does great things with her money. But with extra that Bezos is giving her maybe she could send a few coats of many colors with mustard stains on them to UT.

The money is suppose to go to charities she designates. I don’t think she can say UT is a charity case. A couple years ago she probably could have though.

For one, she spent 12.5 M of her own money to save the people of East Tennessee from more hardship after the fires came through and devastated the region. That was one of the most generous things I've ever heard of an individual doing for her own after a natural disaster.

Dollywood is a business … I could see a NIL partnership with a few of our players. However, for every PLUS you get by drawing Vols fans, you are pushing away other fan bases. And Dollywood gets tons of out of state visitors. Maybe keep it local?

Congratulations to her on the award. I’m sure she’ll designate worthy charities as the recipients. My guess is she’ll split it between health related and community service groups, not higher education.

I’m not bad mouthing Dolly Parton. Goodness.
She’s a great person. Loved Steel Magnolias. DollyWood is great. I love Pigeon Forge, and she built that place. Ease up everyone!
I just thought it was funny how people were so disappointed when Peyton Manning was the guest picker on GameDay, and she wasn’t. Just chill. I’m good. Dolly’s cool. I like her. 😁

I’m good. Don’t need her stats. I know she’s great and I do think she’s an awesome ambassador. Not arguing.
And no, I’ve never been in the military or had international business endeavors, nor had the privilege of traveling abroad otherwise. I do think the notoriety that she’s has brought the area is wonderful.
