Doesn't Danny boy have a bridge named after him? I think i recall seeing a sign on the mid-bay bridge going into ft. walton a while back.

Well deserved IMO, class guy.

Congrats to Danny Wuerffel. That guy killed me and all of us in the 90's, but he is a first class guy all the way. Well deserved.

Congrats to Danny.

Derrick Thomas didn't get in, again. Not sure how a guy that had 52 career sacks and still holds the NCAA record for the most sacks in a season (27 sacks) doesn't get in.

No idea why Thomas keeps getting left out, he definitely should be in it.

Congrats to Wuerffel. I had the pleasure of meeting him once and he is super nice humble guy.

Wuerffel and Tommie Frazier were a pleasure to watch. Two of the best college QB's in my lifetime.

The two weakest armed QBs to ever win the Heisman were Danny Weurffel and Steve Spurrier. That says more about their ability to read defenses, compete, and lead a team than it does about their arm strength.

Weurffel was a winner who could throw the corner fade better than anyone. UF basically ran that or a slant depending on the defense and they picked you apart with it.
